Applications to become a DILP mentor in 2019 are now open!

What is the DILP mentoring program?

The DILP Mentoring Program provides an opportunity for passionate individuals to guide, motivate and empower young second-generation Vietnamese-Australians. Mentors will be matched with successful applicants of the DILP, in order to assist with their professional and personal development throughout the program.

Mentors will provide mentorship in their field of interest, this can be career-related, community-related, identity-related or any other areas of expertise.

How does the program run?

The Mentoring Program is included as part of the DILP. Participants will be matched with mentors based on their career and/or personal development goals and will be expected to be drivers of the mentoring relationship. Mentors and mentees will have the freedom and flexibility to negotiate their own meet ups. This can be over the phone or in real life.

There will be a compulsory induction and introduction session in may, as well as one pre-scheduled session which has been integrated in the DILP, where food will be provided for you and your mentee.
